Two massage therapists, Christina Scavo and Shannon O’Toole, have sued Brett Favre, former quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings, for sexual harassment. The two massage therapists are claiming that Favre sent harassing text messages of a sexual nature to them and that they were told by a Jets coordinator to stay quiet about the ordeal or they would not work for the Jets organization again.
O’Toole and Scavo claim they were not called back for any future work from the Jets after they had confronted Favre about the messages.
The lawsuit, filed in New York, names Favre, the Jets and Lisa Ripi in the lawsuit. Ripi was named because she allegedly coordinated the massage therapists during training camp. The suit also claims that the Jets anti-sexual harassment policy is not appropriate or properly enforced.
